well...
yeah, so it's been a while. And the whole plan of getting out of glasgow for a bit at the end of june most decidedly did not happen, and i do not know what happened to july, but it turns out that already i'm now in london and leaving for cameroon in less than seven hours. and leaving jenni's in less than four. (maybe i should go to bed)
so, sincere thanks to callum dish jamie matt and the science centre for their hand in the prevention of severe glasgow-claustraphobic-depression setting in. Especially my surprise picnic and seeing me off at the train. It was a grand last day in glasgow guys-what stars you are!
was such a bizarre train journey down, i actually don't think there was an emotion i didn't go through! Was scared about this full africa thing for the first time. It's been a good couple of days in london though, visiting mac mac mac mac mac in the bourgh, and then seeing the sights of london, such as the science museum and the guards with the silly hats and interesting walk at buckingham palace.
sigh, well i better be off to bed. Though i'm scared and unsure now of this full thing, at least I'm sure of where my help comes from.
psalm 121
I lift my eyes up to the hills-
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord
the Maker of Heaven and Earth'
He will not let your foot slip-
he who watches over you will not slumber
Indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep
