a grand weekend

And so it has been.

Good things this weekend: the Astronomy-with-a-couple-of-physists-and-extra-randomers-subcrawl-then-cheesey-pop. (that would get you quite a few points if you were allowed titles in -scrabble) tinderbox for the first time this year, beth's sister mary coming to stay, all the cool people i got to hang out with, matching socks on saturday, not getting astronomy assignment done on saturday but still not stressing about it on sunday, neal and me both crying in the kitchen trying to chop onions, craig's comfy sofa, prayer meeting, advent, getting cake at both church services, laura's advent gathering, piza hut, jamie's camera, hanging out with both the swiss and german variety of judiths and listening to german music, a refound excitement of looking forward to each day to see what God's going to do, and learn more of Him, and know Him more, the cute grin from everyone as i went in astronomy late, not setting alarm clock and not getting out of bed till 12, finally buying food, oatcakes and cheese and the way the cheese melts, jenni feeling happy about driving to bibical evangelism conference, the smell of oatakes and cheese, the taste of oatcakes and cheese, the texture of oatcakes and cheese, the way rectangular slices of cheese fit nicely into trianguar oatcakes,

lolights-the stench of bolognaise that haunted the flat for a day and made me feel like if i ever saw a tomato again i might explode in a manner similar to that of a supernova, having to turn the heating on.

it wasn't the eating it, it's just when it came to cleaning the kitchen, it was like a tomato had exploded in it, and mixed with the funny smell of our sink it was a bit minging. why is the word homogenous used so much in science??
