ideas?

Right peoples, from between 1.40pm on the 23rd July till 4.30pm on the 27th July, have a nice break from work.Any ideas for what t do with this time? I'd quite like to go away somewhere: prerquisites of suggestions are: somewhere kinda cheap. relaxing, out of glasgow, and preferabley somewhere where I can't feed my habit of checking examsurf like every hour-it's just not neccesary.

Also, check my brother in his prom outfit, it may have topped his purple effort from last year. I want the hat!

i'm walking on sunshine...

Well, what a sunny past while its been. And due to my lack-of-camera-functioningness, I decided to utilise my amazing graphic design skills and illustrate some of what I have been up to with paint:

Sitting in Brel with the future flat mate in like a million degrees Kelvin with an nice cool beer. *contented sigh* Although, here we did encounter the worst chat up I have ever heard- some guy came up and touched helen's clearly blue tshirt and asked, "is this yellow"?

And there's been lots of snoozing outside the library, reading lots, and listening to some of these and daisy chain making.

And then to round off friday night, there was a pre-west end festival party at the qm and it was ammmmmmazing. four really cool samba drumming bands, capoeira and we danced the night away.

Then sunday saw the post st silas morning crew head to white street for a wonderful barbecue where we were joined by lots of folks obviously drawn by the smell of lunch.

And after a bit of festivalness, followed by a really good refreshing time at the evening service at church, we went for a sing song on ashton lane before the banter and moved to jamies where some of glasgow's fresh young talent wrote such hits as the chewing gum song and the one about the one legged pirate. stay tuned for more info about releases.

bored

hmm, i think it's time to get back into good old blogging routine. There has been lots of goodness going on.

Like macaroni cheese. I think i like mac(macmacmac) and cheese almost as much as soup.

And cu ball with a wonderful ceilidh band and much banter and dancing and food

and lots of sunny days, and seeping/getting my head round spinning buckets/string theory in parks with relatively(hee) little sunburn.

and slacklining with geroge and ruth. (we almost "mastered" going backwards, touching the rope, and jumping and switching feet position! Bring on leaving uni and joining the circus!)

and buying scary expensive flights to cameroon

and still not killing anyone during driving lessons (test only a few weeks or so away!)

and learning to make even more paper aeroplanes/blimps/helicopters at work.

But then people keep leaving glasgow for summer, or longer, which is quite sad. But they're grand bloggers, so that cool:) And I booked train to London to go visit one hooligan before I jet off rather early in the morning to africa for a wee adventure there.

hmm, beginning to wonder if i've got sun stroke, and that's why I'm typing rubbish when i should be out socialising (and most definitely not watching dawsons creek) seeing as it's friday night!

cute hair

i was in not-so-sunny-cumnock today to have my mum stab me with some needles and my brother came in from swimming-first time i've seen him without straightened hair in agggggges, and it wasn't so curly before he started straightening it-anyone want to join me in the petition for craig to keep his curls? i think they're sweet!
